This 1974 Classic Ford Bronco Explorer is a great place to start your restoration! It has a basic factory 302 engine with a nice sounding dual exhaust system, with a rebuilt four barrel carburetor, along with a smooth shifting healthy C-4 automatic transmission, power steering, and power disc brakes. It has a healthy Dana 44 front axle and a Ford 9" rear end, both are functioning correctly. It has a clean black automatic steering column and a new Grant GT steering wheel. This Bronco needs nothing to be able to drive it daily.

It has power front disc brakes and rear drums, all of which have been recently done. It has chrome front and rear bumpers with a swing out tire carrier and spare tire with a clean original Bronco tire cover. It has chrome after market door mirrors on the outside, and new black pleated vinyl inner door panels with new door cups and black armrests.

The doors open and close well with little effort, plus they hang correctly with no sagging. We just opened up the doors and lubricated all door linkages, replaced some of the old parts, installed new armrests and door handle cups, plus a set of new pleated vinyl black door panels. The dash is clean, with a Grant GT steering wheel. The glove box door still has the original Explorer emblem on it. The VIN numbers are where they should be. If you want to install a removable face plate radio in the dash there is already a hole there for it.

This Bronco has a 3.5" suspension system on it, along with Rancho shocks. It has a factory original red paint job and black stock front seats, including the original floor matting in front, clean floor pans in back, and a matching rear seat. It has minimal rust in the floor pans, which could easily be replaced at a very reasonable cost if someone cares enough about how the bottom side of the floor pans look. The grill is still has the original two-tone white paint on it.

How often do you see the original paint still on a 45 year old car? The paint is all original and it could use some minor body work on the drivers side front fender, but besides that, the body is very clean and straight in general with aluminum body trim all around. The 33x12.50x15 all terrain tires are in good shape, and the 15x10" American Eagle aluminum wheels are clean as well.

We just pressure washed it, then we spent 2 days sanding, prepping and blacking out the chassis, suspension, axles and under carriage, now it's ready to be driven. The hard top has also been removed, and a new Safari top has been installed.

We just installed a new black powder coated Legend roll cage with all new grade 8 hardware, new black stock seats in front and in back, and we're in the process of installing new retractable shoulder belts in front and in back.

We just installed a new set of Ford Motorsport valve covers and a new air cleaner on this Bronco this week to make the engine look even better!
