Rocky Roads restored this rust-free beautiful Bronco a few years back for a client in San Diego. We just got it back in nearly the same condition as when it was restored.

It has a smooth running back-to-factory 302 with a two barrel carburetor with working electric choke, stock intake and exhaust manifolds, electronic ignition, a rust-free clean engine bay, and dual pipes with big chrome tips routed correctly out behind the rear tires. It has a smooth shifting C-4 automatic with the factory shifter on the restored black steering column, 4 turn '77 factory power steering and very nice stopping factory power disc brakes. Runs and drives very well. Between purchase cost and restoration cost, there is over $40K invested in this clean machine!

The fenders have never been cut. The paint was done a few years back in black, with a beautiful tan leather interior, as per the owner's request. Newer tan vinyl door and rear paneling, custom removable tan snap-in carpet mats. Recent super clean black Linex interior bed liner, professionally sprayed on throughout the inner tub for a lasting durable finish. New lower door seals added, along with new chrome front and rear bumpers, new body trim, lights, headlamp rings, reflectors, lenses, and two-tone silver grill.

The suspension is 2.5" with 11 leafs in back, and dual rate coil springs in front. The '77 anti-sway bar still attached, Rancho 9000 shocks all around. The custom 16" wheels are aluminum, with newer 33" tires, and newer lug nuts. Restored original 15" steel factory wheels with brand new 235 tires are also available (for the purest). Both fuel tanks have been upgraded, the front to 12 gallon, the rear to 23 gallon, with most fuel lines replaced throughout.

It has a custom stereo system with 4 speakers (there was a sub whoofer in back, the wiring is still there if someone wants to add another one at some point) a locking Tuffy console with tan pad, and a nice alarm system. The custom family roll cage is a six-point, beautifully finished in a gloss black, with high back belts front and rear. It comes with a tan bikini top, a full custom made bikini top that covers front and rear passengers which when windows are installed, turns into a full soft top. The dash board is super clean, with clean heat/defrost gauges, and all chrome bezels shiny like new.

4-12-11 UPDATE:

Over the weekend, we had our mechanic check all systems. He quickly identified a carburetor electric choke issue, as well as a brake noise, and repaired them both. Filled both fuel tanks to check for leaks, there were no leaks. Performed a 15 mile road test at freeway speed, performed extremely well at 65-75MPH, no issues to identify beyond those that were already repaired.

Just got it back from paint shop. All scratches, chips and all paint related imperfections have been taken care of, rip in rear seat armrest fixed, piping on drivers side seat fixed. New grille trim installed, new piece of drivers side door trim installed as well.
