1968 yellow rust-free California classic Ford Bronco
Classic Ford Bronco For Sale – Details
This 1968 bronco has been converted to a 5.0 L 302 engine with a Holley Demon carburetor with a rebuilt automatic transmission (with the automatic shifter on the column) with a solid Dana 20 transfer case. It has a Dana 44 front axle in front with front disc brakes and Hydroboost power brakes. It has a newer aftermarket power steering pump, a slightly lifted modern suspension system with variable rate coil springs in front and leaf springs in back. It has brand new bearings and seals in the Ford 9″ rear axle, plus all new wheel cylinders, brake shoes and recently turned drums.
It has clean (what appears to be original) yellow paint, it’s got a beautiful new saddle colored stock interior with a stock rear seat, plus a clean black Linex interior bed liner covering rust-free ribbed Bronco floor pans. This Bronco has a really clean straight body with no rust in the door posts, the floor pans, in the tailgate, the inner fender aprons, none in the kick panels, the rocker panels, pretty much everything is rust free. The only rust we were able to find was in the old windshield frame. We just cut off the old original windshield frame and replaced the windshield frame with a brand new one, then we match painted the new windshield frame and the cowl panel (inside of the engine bay) we found no other rust anywhere. Once that process was completed, we professionally re-install the new windshield frame, and a new windshield glass and seal.
This is a California Classic Bronco that’s been very well cared for. It has a retro sound system with custom speaker enclosures in front, with the rear speakers enclosed in the back (under the rear seat). It has a nice sound system. Although it could use a subwoofer and an amplifier, those could be added later if you want a higher volume sound system. It has a new style electric wiper system that works great (as you may or may not already know, the early ’66 to ’68 Broncos all had ‘vacuum wipers’ but this one’s been converted to electric wipers. It has a clean stock dash board with a new dash pad that matches the interior. The dash was painted black, as were the glove box and ash tray. We just removed the speedometer bezel, carefully prepped it, then re-finished it in the original silver color it came from when this Bronco was new.
This Bronco has everything that a ‘73 to ‘76 Bronco would have on it, but without the CA smog equipment that would be needed if it was a ‘76 or a ’77 Bronco. We just installed a restored set of the cleanest stock wheels we had on our shelves and painted the rims Wimbledon White, then we took the last set of brand new re-pop hub caps that we had on our shelf and carefully installed them on the beautiful stock wheels. Now this Bronco is pretty much back-to-original. The tires are the stock size of 235/75R15. It still has the stock wire harness, but everything seems to work as it should. It still has two fuel tanks. It has 2 clean stock chrome bumpers with aftermarket receiver hitch in back so you can tow your Jet Skis (or a small trailer) comfortably around town. It also has a brand new black powder coated Rocky Roads Legend 6 point roll cage with retractable front and rear seat belts for improved passenger safety.
It just got pressure washed, detailed, inspected, we installed all new plugs, wires, a new air cleaner and filter, new cap and rotor, we cleaned up so the underside, the engine bay and everything on the outside. At that point, it will be fully serviced and we don’t anticipate any further maintenance work will be immediately needed. This is now a beautiful bronco that can be driven daily without worry.
Add: tear down, new paint job in your color choice, then reinstall everything with all new rubber and seals $30,000.00 installed (includes all new exterior emblems, bezels, trim, rubber, lights, lenses, etc)
