Bronco Details
This rust-free California ’69 Ford Bronco Roadster is one of a kind. It has well over $75K invested in the restoration. It has been built to the highest of standards. This is the perfect Classic Ford Bronco for driving in warmer climates or on nice days. The amazing paintwork was done professionally (inside, outside, engine bay, and covering all-wheel wells) is a ’69 Corvette Yellow (#56) with lots of clear coat and a perfect high gloss finish. The body is steel and 100% rust free. It has a chrome grille and a stainless steel windshield frame. The hood is a fiberglass cowl hood that was match-painted inside and out. This is a Bronco that was built to be driven in nice weather. It has no heater or wipers because the former owner did not need them, he only took it out on the best of days when the weather was nice. It shows as well as it drives.
The engine is a rebuilt matching numbers 302, it has an Edlebrock intake, valve covers, carburetor, and polished aluminum air cleaner. It has an electronic distributor, a high output alternator, and a newer starter. It has electronic ignition. The original wire harness has been reworked and is still in good shape. It has new drive shafts and a double baffle Flowmaster dual exhaust system, which has been correctly routed out behind the rear tires so you don’t get fumes in the cab when driving it. The transmission and transfer case have been gone through and painted cement, as have most of the underside parts. It has a Holley electric fuel pump, all the old fuel lines were replaced, and it has a newer oversized 23-gallon fuel tank.
Nearly everything was replaced in this restoration. It has a lot of diamond plating inside, not to cover up rust but because the former owner loved diamond plate. The Beard racing seats are both comfortable and easy to sit in on long rides, it has 3″ racing style lap belts in front with shoulder harnesses. It has racing style lap belts in the back. It has a stereo system in-dash with 2 6×9 speakers flush mounted in the rear side panels, with an antenna that actually picks up radio stations.
It has a 5.5″ suspension system with the best of components, including extended radius arms with 4.5 degrees of camber built into them. It has custom front dual shock mounts, progressive rate coil springs, a Ford 9″ with Posi-traction in back with a heavy-duty axle truss, it has 11 leaf rear springs, replaced shackle bushings, and dual rear shocks. It has custom tubular front and rear bumpers and a full roll cage with yellow padding and wrapping. It has a Dana 30 front axle that has been gone through with disc brakes and a heavy-duty axle truss underneath. It has custom aluminum 15×10″ wheels with polished bead locks and 35×12.50×15 BFG tires. It has power steering and heavy-duty steering linkages. It has a clean CA title and current tags. This Bronco could not be built today for less than $100K. There will be some minor cosmetic upgrades done if we still have this Bronco in the next 2 weeks, the price will be raised once these upgrades are completed.
