1972 3-Speed Bronco

Our 1972 rust-free blue-plate California Ford Bronco is now a body-off restoration and is in the “paint phase” after getting new steel front fenders, new Dennis Carpenter flared steel rear quarter panels, and a new stock hood.
Once the PPG paint has been applied, the new paint will be carefully color-sanded, then polished to perfection. Next, it will get a new aluminum belt-line trim and grill trim. Note: We are considering painting this Bronco, either Avalanche Grey, Brittany Blue (or a new Audi color lighter than Nardo Grey). However, we could still paint this Bronco in your color choice if you get us a deposit before September 7th. (That’s when is scheduled to be painted). After painting, this Bronco will come back together quickly and should be done by the end of September.

This one is getting a freshly rebuilt fuel injected 289 V-8 engine, a rebuilt automatic transmission, and a rebuilt Dana 20 transfer case w/billet dress-up kit. It already has a restored Dana 44 up front, a rebuilt Ford 9-inch with all-new disc brakes in the back, and new 4.11 gears. It has a 23-gallon fuel tank, a rebuilt stock speedometer, a restored dashboard, a set of clean chrome bumpers, and a match painted or a blacked-out 4-point roll cage with front and rear retractable seat belts. When it comes back from paint in mid-September, we will install a set of pleated vintage distressed leather stock seats in front, plus a stock rear seat in the back. The inside already has a black interior bed liner. It will also get matching door panels, rear side panels, a matching tailgate panel, and new black snap-in carpet mats with leather accents.

The chassis, the engine compartment, the axles, and the suspension have all been blacked out (while the body was off earlier this month).
We will be restoring the original dashboard in Wimbledon white. We are also installing a Tuffy locking center console with a matching leather armrest, plus a locking Tuffy glove box. It will also get a new high-end Apple CarPlay media system with a Focal five-channel amplifier, Focal K-2 Power component speakers (mounted in the doors) a set of K-2 Power 6.5 inch Coaxial speakers flush mounted in the rear side panels, plus a custom Rocky Roads subwoofer enclosure with a K-2 Power 10 inch subwoofer mounted in the back of the vehicle.

We’re also planning to install a black safari top and either a black or a white Rampage soft top.

*** A Wimbledon White hardtop could be purchased and installed for another $6500.00 if you want a Hard Top.
