1972 Brittany Blue Frame-Off Restored Bronco
Bronco Details
This California ’72 Ford Bronco recently underwent a Frame-Off Restoration. The restoration is still as clean as when it was performed. There are receipts for work done to the Bronco during the restoration. It has a great running 302 engine with solid compression (130-150 lbs in all cylinders) with a quiet-sounding exhaust system, a freshly rebuilt carburetor,plus a recent tune-up and oil change. It has a rebuilt AOD 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive, plus a rebuilt automatic steering column. It has a Dana 20 transfer case with twin-stick 4×4 shifters. Both driveshafts work properly, as does the 4×4 system. It runs and drives well in all driving conditions.
It currently has a 12-gallon main fuel tank, all lines have been replaced, but we are in the process of installing a 23-gallon main tank as of 1-28-22. It has a 2.5″ suspension system with Bilstein shocks plus a 1″ body lift for a nice ride height and a great ride. It has a Dana 44 front axle, with a Ford 9″ rear axle. It has a beautiful Brittney Blue paint job that is as straight as they get, with all aluminum and grille beltline trim replaced. There is a receipt from the paint shop for $32K for the bodywork and the paintwork.
This Bronco comes with a black Safari top and a silver-painted hardtop, the hardtop has been painted silver (like the dashboard) It has not been installed on the Bronco since the Bronco was restored. The hardtop comes with the Bronco. It has tinted side windows, a tinted rear glass, plus all-new seals, it will not be installed unless someone wants to pay us to install and properly seal it. It will be delivered with a black Safari top.
It has a restored white face factory speedometer, a clean silver dash with a Tuffy locking glove box. It has a (recently painted black) family roll cage with grab bars in front. All door parts have either been restored or replaced (including new felts and channels, armrests, door cups, rollers, etc). It has a bed liner sprayed throughout the interior bed floor. It has newer wing windows and door window glass, It has a factory spare tire carrier with matching-sized spare tire and rim. It has new Pro Comp 15 x 10-inch wheels with new 33×12/50×15 AT tires that were just installed.
It has recently installed Almond Spice (tan) pleated vinyl Pro Car Elite high back seats with headrests and sliding mounting brackets in front, plus a matching folding rear seat with headrests in the back. It has a new black dash pad, ’77 fuel doors, new Sport emblems, chrome side step-up bars, chrome bumpers, plus clean FORD raised letters on the grille. It has a new windshield and seal and a rebuilt stock wiper system. It has a radio but currently, it has no speakers.
Update: We installed a new power brake booster, master cylinder, all new lines to the booster, a new 4 turn Lee Power Steering gearbox and lines, we pressure washed the engine bay, installed all-new matching door panels, rear side panels, and a new tailgate panel, plus a new Grant wooden steering wheel. This Bronco needs no work to be a daily driver. It’s 100% reliable and starts every morning without issue. Needs no smog, it’s a ’72 with all of the features of a ’77.
