Bronco Details

This 1976 Ford Bronco was recently restored by Rocky Roads to a very high level. This 100% Rust-Free California Ford Bronco Ranger has a factory 302 engine that was just rebuilt by Jasper engines and is still under the builders warranty. The engine is all factory and will pass a CA smog test. It has a rebuilt factory 2 barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, it’s smooth & quiet and very fun to cruise around town in. This Bronco never had any rust in the body & no rust repairs were made during this restoration, this was a very rare California Rust-Free Bronco!

This Bronco has a rebuilt factory C-4 three speed automatic transmission and a Dana 20 transfer case. It has 3.50 gears with a Locker in back. This Bronco has been painted to perfection. The engine bay & under carriage have been pressure washed & blacked out. It has a new black Polyurea (Linex) interior bed liner that shows off the rust-free ribbed factory floor pans & protects them from the weather.

It has an upgraded power steering system with a 4 turn factory gear box & late model P.S. pump with factory power disc brakes in front & rebuilt drum brakes in back. The rear Ford 9″ & Dana 44 front axles have been re-furbished, re-sealed & brought back to their original working order. It has rebuilt front & rear brakes & a new emergency brake set up that’s fabricated & custom shaped to work with the Legend family roll cage.

It has a new Centek wire harness with factory back up lights & HID head lights. It has a new super clean Legend dash (no ash tray or dash speaker) with rebuilt stock heater system, plus all new dash components. The dash has a restored speedometer cluster which is white faced & illuminated. The odometer was re-set to zero miles to reflect the actual miles on the restoration, now it’s at around 575 miles. We also installed new head lamp & wiper switches. There is an Alpine CD head unit mounted inside of the Tuffy locking center console with an Alpine PDX-4 amplifier & 5.25″ component door speakers, plus 6 1/4 coax speakers flush-mounted in the rear side paneling. It has a new black Rampage soft top that was installed when we delivered the Bronco, and has been in the owners garage ever since.

This Bronco has new match painted front & rear fender flares, a match painted Legend Hybrid front bumper with a Warn 8000LB winch & a match painted Rock Solid rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier & matching spare tire & wheel. It has Pro Car Elite front seats with a matched folding rear seat, new black pleated vinyl door panels, rear side panels & tailgate paneling. It has all new rubber & seals throughout.

It has completely rebuilt doors with chrome lift-off removable hinges with new black door safety straps. New window regulators make the windows roll up and down like new, and the wing windows work like they should. The doors just got new window rollers, window tracks, armresrts, inner door cups, inner & outer door handles, all new window felts & channels and new door strikers. New black powder coated Legend 4×4 Bronco 6-point Family roll cage with new black padding & wrapping, plus new retractable front & rear retractable seat belts. It also has a new windshield glass & seal & a restored wiper system.

We just installed new 2.5″ suspension, new 7 degree C bushings, new radius arm bushings & new front variable rate soft riding coil springs. The wheels and tires are new 15×10 American Eagle polished aluminum wheels with new 32×11.50×15 BFG All Terrain tires.

It has all new brake lines, fuel lines, a new 23 gallon fuel tank and new Rancho 9000 shocks, which make for a very smooth ride. It also has new billet aluminum head lamp, tail light & side marker light bezels. The bodywork & paint was completed last year, and the entire restoration is only 6 months old.
