1972 Body-off Classic Ford Bronco Restoration

Ford Bronco Details

This Bronco is currently a “blank canvas”. We are in the process of building it out. It is in our queue right now, and it’s scheduled for late 2020 or early 2021 completion.

It is going to get a new Coyote engine or a 306 Blueprint crate engine (either way, will have over 350HP which is plenty for a Classic Bronco) It is going to be a 100% rust free body with a new hood, tailgate, fenders, grille, uncut rear fenders, windshield frame, bed, inner fenders, rocker panels, door posts, etc mounted on a restored stock 1976 or a 1973 Bronco rolling chassis with a Dana 44 front axle with disc brakes and a Ford 9″ rear axle with drums. We have 2 titles and 2 rolling chassis choices to put this body onto depending on which direction we take this build. (bodies are easily interchangeable on classic ford broncos)

It is currently UNCUT but we could potentially cut the fenders and install new match painted, black or white fender flares if you want fender flares. It could be a 5-speed manual or a 3 speed automatic, with an optional 4 speed automatic, with a rebuilt/restored Dana 20 transfer case with a new billet dress-up kit. It will have new front and rear driveshafts and all-new U-joints, the running gear will be new or rebuilt throughout.

It will have restored stock bucket seating for 4 or high back front and rear seats with headrests, in either vintage distressed leather or pleated German vinyl, depending on your budget. It will have a new Legend dashboard (with or without) A/C with 4 billet A/C vents, plus a new Dakota Digital or Classic Instruments speedometer, with all new switches and bezels. We plan to install old-school “smooth retro 17 x 7-inch steel wheels with Derby hub caps, but we can install your choice of wheels and tires. The price will start at $89,950.00 for the basic body-off restoration and will go up as we decide to install a new sound system, A/C, leather interior, etc. It could end up in the $135K to $160K price range (as did the one you are looking at in the completed photos) or it could go higher if we go with a Coyote engine, a 4R70W four-speed automatic with a new Atlas 2 transfer case.
